Cannot connect to WMI Provider problem solution for SQL Management Studio

Error message when you open SQL Server Configuration Manager in SQL Server: “Cannot connect to WMI provider. You do not have permission or the server is unreachable”.

If You run at win 64, the directory is different

Possible SQL version’s shared directory:

SQL 2008: C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft SQL Server90Shared
SQL 2008 R2: C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft SQL Server100Shared
SQL 2012: C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft SQL Server110Shared
SQL 2014: C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft SQL Server120Shared
SQL 2017: C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft SQL Server140Shared

    i cant find .mof file in shared folder of sql am trying to install sql server 2012 and it showing me that error :/

    It showing me error Please help me solve this. My SQL Server Configuration Manager is open but when I click on SQL Server Services, there are no items :
    C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft SQL Server100Shared>mofcomp sqlmgmproviderxps

    Thanks bro. I already access my sql configuration management tool, but there is no items to show on Sql Server Services. so i still cant open my sql server management studio.

    hey please some one help me i tried this methode but all my files have change from there normal file extensions and they have an extra extension which is accessible (.mp3.foop)
    please some one help me solve this

    Right click on cmd

    chose run as administrator

    then type in the command prompt:

    C:Program Files (x86)> Microsoft SQL Server"SQLNUMBER"Shared>mofcomp "C:Program Files (x86)Microsoft SQL Server100Sharedsqlmgmproviderxpsp2up.mof"

    Then I had to restart WMI Services.

    All Good after that.
